Dialer Configuration

In order to dial into Infobahn International, Inc., configure your PPP dialer software with the following parameters:

IP Address Server Assigned, Class "C" (or 192.0.0.0)
Default Gateway IP Address: 208.0.146.1 (or Use Default Gateway on Remote Network)
Netmask 255.255.255.0
Name Server IP Addresses: 208.0.145.7 (primary)
208.0.145.2 (secondary)
Domain Name icubed.com (primary)
sprintlink.net (secondary)
TCP/IP Header Compression On (or VJ/CSLIP)

Some UNIX users may need to add a line like:

route add -net 0.0.0.0 gw 208.0.146.1

to their system start-up file.

Note that when using a scripted login, the initial prompt to wait for should be "):, rather than "ogin:". The prompt to wait for before sending the password would be "word:.

E-Mail Client Configuration

In order to configure you E-Mail client for use with our system, use the following settings:

Incoming Mail (POP3) Server pop3.icubed.com
Outgoing Mail (SMTP) Server smtp.icubed.com
E-Mail (POP3) Username Your E-mail username
E-Mail (POP3) Password Your E-mail password
Reply-To and E-Mail addresses Your E-mail address (i.e. username@icubed.com)

News Client Configuration

To use your USENET News software with Infobahn International, enter the following information in the appropriate areas:

News (NNTP) server news.icubed.com
E-Mail Address Your E-Mail address (i.e. username@icubed.com)

Note that our news server does not require a username and password in order to connect.
