Resetting the News Group List in Netscape Communicator

Here's what you have to do to clear out the bad information stored in Netscape Communicator's news client (Please make sure to exit Netscape Communicator before starting):

Open MyComputer
Open the icon for your C: drive
Open the Program Files folder
Open the Netscape folder
Open the Users folder
Open the folder named with your username (i.e. if your username were "jsmith", then open the folder jsmith)
Open the folder News
Open the folder host-news.icubed.com.
Drag all of the files in host-news.icubed.com to the Recycle Bin and then empty the recycle bin.

Netscape Communicator will now start as if it were the first time you used it's news client. You will have to download the complete group list again and then re-subscribe to any groups you follow.
