Resetting the News Group List in Microsoft Internet News

Here's what you have to do to clear out the bad information stored in the Internet News news client (Please make sure to exit Internet News before starting):

Open MyComputer
Open the icon for your C: drive
Open the Program Files folder
Open the Internet Mail and News folder
Open the folder with your username
Open the News folder
Drag all of the files in the News folder to the Recycle Bin and then empty the recycle bin

Internet News will now start as if it were the first time you used it's news client. You will have to download the complete group list again and then re-subscribe to any groups you follow.
