Resetting the News Group List in Netscape Navigator

Here's what you have to do to clear out the bad information stored in Netscape Navigator's news client (Please make sure to exit Netscape Navigator before starting):

Open MyComputer
Open the icon for your C: drive
Open the Program Files folder
Open the Netscape folder
Open the News folder
Drag all of the files in the news folder to the Recycle Bin and then empty the recycle bin.

Netscape Navigator will now start as if it were the first time you used it's news client. You will have to download the complete group list again and then re-subscribe to any groups you follow.
