I Can't Send or Receive E-Mail


Simple Solution

If your E-mail was working fine before, please close your E-mail program and disconnect from Infobahn International, Inc. Log in again and check to see if your client works -- it should. (If a connection sits unused for 20 minutes, our terminal server automatically terminates the connection).

Harder Solution

Check the mail server settings in your E-mail program (look for an "Options", "Preferences" or "Settings" choice on one of the menus). You should have the following information:

Incoming Mail (or POP/POP3) server pop3.icubed.com
Outgoing Mail (or SMTP) server smtp.icubed.com
Mail (or POP/POP3) username Your E-mail username

Note that some E-mail programs, such as Eudora, ask for a "POP account". If this is the case, then enter:

Your E-mail username@pop3.icubed.com

(i.e., if your E-mail username were "jsmith", then you would enter jsmith@pop3.icubed.com.)
