New
supply of azurite:
I recently obtained a new supply of top quality azurite. It is being
prepared for shipment, it has been crushed, but not yet mulled and levigated.
Weight per vial averages 10 grams. Due to the rising cost of quality azurite,
I have to ask $7 per vial for this particular batch. I currently have 500
grams on hand. I am endeavoring to obtain more azurite at a decent quality,
hopefully at a lower cost. I still have some of the so-so azurite for $2.
Leaf
stock low:
My stock of silver leaf, SL, is very low. GLC is sold out entirely.
I may have more by 1Q00. Maybe some double cennini and tin leaf too.
NYL Naples yellow stock gone:
NYL Naples yellow is no longer being imported, so I have no stock.
I may be able to get some from Europe. I'll let you know. See
other yellow pigments

ink making supplies:
I now have Oak Galls, GAL, and copperas, CRS, for making ink. You'll
need some Gum Arabic as well.
Now
selling cut vellum:
I am now selling cut pieces of vellum, figure about $25 per foot. Whole
hides are still $15 per foot.
