New apprentice:
Congratulations to my new apprentice, Art
of Sligeach! He was taken into my service at court held by Sheriff
John, in my lands in Drachenwald. Art is a son of Lady
Arcana (also from Sligeach), another of my apprentices.
Web page improvements are here!:
The long-promised improvements to the web page are finally happening,
thanks to the good work of my slave, Arden
of Arden, recently captured in
Drachenwald. Expect more improvements, suggestions are welcome.
New
supply of azurite:
I went the the Tucson gem and rock show primarily to get a good supply
of top quality azurite. Not only did I score, but I found the miners
as well! It has been crushed and sifted, but not mulled or levigated. Weight
per vial averages 10 grams. Due to the rising cost of quality azurite,
I have to ask $7 per vial for the very best grade, $5 for good, and $3
for OK. Color is comparable to natural lapis.
Leaf
stock replenished!:
My stock of silver leaf, SL, is replenished. GLC is sold out entirely,
but the good news is that I have a new leaf, GLX, thicker than ever! You
can actually pick it up if your hands aren't too dirty.
NYL Naples yellow stock gone:
NYL Naples yellow is no longer being imported, so I have no stock.
I may be able to get some from Europe. I'll let you know. In the mean time
I've added PYL, praeseodymium yellow ($1), which contains no lead. See
other yellow pigments
New
ink making supplies:
I now have Oak Galls, GAL, and copperas, CRS, for making ink. You'll
need some Gum Arabic as well.
Vellum
is sold out right now:
I am out of vellum, but I have a big order in for goat parchment. If
that caravan would just get here!.
Price changes:
$7 VKL,
LLP,
AZ(very
best to date )
$5 CIN,
AZ, SEP
$3 AZ,
$2
MAZ,
GIB,
AZ
$1 PYL
Pennsic tags:
Surplus Pennsic tags are available by mail, see Order Tags. Instructions
for using the Pennsic 25 tags are now posted in easy-to-read type. Illustrated
instructions will be coming. I have Pennsic 28 tags, the PW29 tags are
still out there somewhere at Cooper's Lake.
AOL CDs wanted:
I am still collecting junk CD-ROMs for a project. I need the plastic,
not the bits, so bag up those AOL junk mailings and pass them on to me.
Thanks! in
advance.
