hese programs
are rather ambitious and are not yet quite finished. But they do work.
The output of one of them was VERY hard to miss at Pennsic XXV!
Software comes in two flavors:
1. A shareware demo that draws to the screen, and
2. A full version which can print and save to a .WMF file.
Quadrants
Draws Horary quadrants for any latitude, and related instruments.
Astrolabes
Draws the geometric parts of an astrolabe, and related instruments.
Sun Dials
Draws a variety of sundials for any latitude, and related instruments.
ll run under
Windows 3.1 (should work in Windows 95, but I haven't tried them yet).
The full version will include online reasearch references and A&S documentation
resources, plus instructions on how to actually build the designs. Although
I hadn't worked on them for two years, I have since renewed my work, so
expect a new improved version soon.
Actually, I think I shall discontinue this product, but I will still
tinker with the programs and may release them as freeware |
