Born c. 1728 in Hessen Castle, Germany. Christian left Germany around 1752, landing in Baltimore, MD. From there he settled in Frederick, Md, where in 1757 he married his wife Christianna. Eventually the family came to what is now South Fayette Township in Allegheny County, Pa, on 414 acres he named Berlin. Christian died in 1807 and his wife, Christianna in 1813. They are both bured in St. Lukes Cemetery near Heidelberg, Pa.

Nancy Agnes, step-daughter born at sea in 1752 on the same ship that Christian Lesnett traveled on. Her father died on the voyage. Nancy married John Vance (1756-1812), a Justice of the Peace and an elder at Bethel Presbyterian Church. After John died, Nancy married James Morrow (1755-1826). Nancy died in 1837 and is buried beside John Vance in the cemetery at Bethel.
Frederick,
born 1758 and married c. 1796 to Isabel Wilson, the daughter of
a Scotish Episcopal minister. Isabel was born in 1776 and died 16
Feb 1867. Frederick and Isabel are both buried in the cemetery of
the Old Bethany Presbyterian Church. Their children were:

Frank ("Francis"),
born 13 Nov 1759 at Ft. Pitt in Allegheny Co, PA. Married in Jan
of 1787 to Rachel Kittens who was born in 1756. Frank died
on 25 Jun 1837 and Rachel on 08 Aug 1854. They are both buried in
the cemetery of the Old Bethany Presbyterian Church. They had one
known child:

Sophia,
born in 1762, she married
William Rowley in 1787. William
was born in England in 1747, supposedly the son of an English lord.
William died on 04 Apr 1814 and is buried on a farm on Slippery Rock Creek
near Harmony, Butler Co, PA. After William's death, Sophia moved
to a place on Coal Pit Run near the original Lesnett homstead. During
her final years she lived in Upper St. Clair with her daughter, Mrs. Sophia
Morrow. Sophia died in 1842 and is buried in the cemetery at the
Old Bethany Presbyterian Church. The children of William and Sophia

Christian, born in 1769 he was killed c. 1790 by Indians and is buried near Wheeling WVA.
Christianna, born on 13 Mar 1771 and married on 09 May 1793 to John Neal. Christianna died on 19 Apr 1851 and both her and her husband are buried in the Candor Cemetery.
George, born c. 1777 and died on 08 Feb 1841. George is buried in the Bethel Presbyterian Cemetery, near Lisbon in Columbianna Co, OH.
