Hello! I am an adult Backstreet
Boys fan, as is my daughter, Sabrina. We live in Lexington, Kentucky,
which is where Brian Littrell grew
up. My daughter Sabrina was born with a severe heart defect and it
prevented her from being able to
run and play like a normal child. 5 years ago when she was 10, she had
an operation, and now she is fine.
On a recent visit to Lexington,
Brian Littrell heard about my daughter, and how she'd give anything to
play
a basketball game with her idol.
I guess that she insipired him, and he agreed. They met at the basketball
court in our subdirectory and played
basketball for 2 1/2 hours. I recorded the whole thing so Sabrina
can look back at it any time she
wants to.
Sabrina beat Brian at the game,
and she was upset because she believed that he let her win. I didn't
believe this and I showed her how
determined she was to win and it showed. It has also showed her that
dreams do come true. If you would
like to hear her side of this story, her email is
sabrina_darlin@hotmail.com
I was also hoping you could put
this story in your bulletins. I believe it is very uplifting and inspiring.
Sabrina has been through a lot
and has lead a very rough life. I think that she is a role model for
everyone, including me. She has
shown me how to live and how to appreciate the finer things in life. No,
not large houses and posh living,
but simple, finer things like just living. I hope this story has insipred
everyone who reads this.
Thank you and god bless.
